Fireproof Sleeving

Fireproof Sleeving (2)

FPS-A is a high wall thickness braided fiberglass sleeving coated with huge quantity of silicon rubber. The main difference between the FPS (fireproof sleeving) and the silicon fiberglass sleevings for electromechanical applications (GVES) is just in fiberglass and silicon rubber quantity. FPS-A is mainly used to protect pipes and cables from accidental metal drops, short time exposure to fire and extreme heat in steel and glass industry or anywhere it is required a high protection from heat.

FPS-I is a high wall thickness braided fiberglass sleeving coated with huge quantity of silicon rubber.

FPS-i is the "cost saving" version of FPS-A. Fiberglass and silicon wall thickness are slightly reduced. Suggested for application less severe than for the Aerospace type.
