Transform and resell laminated materials for electric motors and transformers is the referemce market for Isolcavi. Since our beginning we cut, die cut... laminated films and papers in our italian plants.

NPN is a flexible insulating material made of two layers of Nomex paper joined with a polyester film. This laminate is particularly effective: infact it joins the extremely high mechanical and electrical resistance of polyester film to the great thermal performances of Nomex paper. The final thermal class of this three layers material is H 180°C.

Obtained by condensation between ethylene-glycol and terephtalic acid: it has exceptional electrical and mechanical resistance. It is used as slot insulation in electric motors and as insulator in transformers or for general electrical purposes where high electrical properties are needed. The polyester film belongs to B thermal class (130°C) and is also available UL approved.
